Ecological Compatibility

Our Sunflower Solvent Ink uses only low-toxic VOC compounds, with low evaporation.

High Optical Density

The pigment used to manufacture our ink are of the highest quality and milled to a presice formula ensuring a very high level of consistency, stability and quality.

Wide Color Gamut

SUNFLOWER ink gives excellent brightness and saturated true colors on any substrates.

Light Fastness

The longevity of our SUNFLOWER inks are rated 2 to 3 years out doors without lamination. Of course this rating will vary from location to location and between various directional aspects.

Nanotechnology

Our inks now have nanochemicals with solid microspheres resulting in improved ink flow, and a brighter print. This technology actually produces round shaped ink drops that facilitate trouble free printing. Not only will your print heads last longer and never clogg again, this ink will often improve the condition of heads slightly clogged by previous ink.

The main advantage for our clients is that the colour appears to be brighter and down time resulting from clogged print heads is completely eliminated.

Available colour sets are:

CMYK+ W
CMYK + LcLm + W
CMYK + OrGr + W

Ink sets with LcLm are good for blends, gradients and shadows. This ink set is mainly used when the majority of prints contain images.

Ink sets with OrGr make graphics look more saturated and extend the gamut. This ink set is mainly used when the majority of prints contain vector graphics

Our White ink makes it possible to print on materials that are clear or coloured.

Economical benefits

With Nanotechnology and ‘soft’ polymers Sunflower Ink will not dry up in the same way that other inks do. This means smooth running printers without the hassles of rectifying clogged print heads, pumps and lines. In actual fact our tests have shown that under normal circumstances, print head life is increased by up to 30 per cent.

Storage

The shelf life of SUNFLOWER Solvent Ink is 12 month from the date of manufacture if stored under the following conditions:

Temperature for storage is between +5 and +35^oC.
For short periods of time e.g. transportation periods, Sunflower Ink can be stored at temperatures as low as -18C however, the ink should be allowed to reach room temperature before use.
