Thursday 22nd of November, 2007

Sun and Advanced Sign Supplies have been working closely together over the past 4 months and released the new NEO LED UV hybrid printer under the model name 'Allegro' about one month ago.

LED UV curing and a wide selection of ink sets are two stand out features of the NEO Allegro printer range.  The Allegro can be set up with CMYKLcLmWV or CMYKOGWV.  You can easily change between the two ink sets with a down time of approcimately 15 minutes.

With Konica K512MM print heads, the NEO Allegro can achieve 1440dpi resolution (14pl) and unlike its competitors, this printer is capable fo using the orange and green combination in place of light cyan and light magenta.  And yes this printer successfully prints white at a high resolution.  It also applys a varnish finish if you want.

The NEO Allegro is the digital printer that screen printers and sign shops have been waiting for.  Now Sun and Advanced Sign Supplies have made owning one even easier.  See how affordable a NEO Allegro is:

Sunflower Ink is the other part of this success story.  With 'Nanotechology' and a formular second to none, this ink has a wide colour gamut, great longevity, very high adherance and very economically priced.  And to top it all off, the 'Nanotechnology' attribute actually extends the life of the print heads.  With 'Nanotechnology ink blockages are a thing of the past.

Sun have been working very closely with ColorGate to develope a RIP facility that addresses the use of their new solvent based White Inks.  Now most 6 Colour printers using Konica, XAAR and Spectra print heads will be able to print white and varnish when using Sunflower ink driven by a colorGate RIP.
